It's always sad to see an exhibit leave THEMUSEUM and RAM is no exception. I will dearly miss the cubic visions of Manfred Mohr, the LED masterpieces of Jim Campbell, the watchful eyes of Alan Rath, the "reflective" mirrors of Danny Rozin, the rhythmic beats of Peter Vogel, the terrifying sounds of David Rokeby, and the image overload of George Legrady.

This past Saturday night, THEMUSEUM hosted a fundraising event called The Brush Off, a live painting competition that pitted 20 artists in 4 rounds of competition, culminating in 38 original works of art and one winner declared champion of The Brush Off!

We’ve been invited to co-host #ArtHour on Twitter with the Art Gallery of Ontario on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11 a.m.  for an online discussion about the art world’s ‘best of the best.’

Too often during the holiday season we stress over what presents to buy, how much to spend, who to invite to our Christmas parties – stresses that in the grand scheme of things are really not all that important. Especially when you consider there are those who are unable to buy presents, who have no money to spend, or no one to spend a festive party with.
